Principal's Message
Welcome to Petag Armenian Saturday School - Home of the Bees
Our school operates under the auspices of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America. Petag has been serving our community since 1965, and has educated generations of Armenian students who are proud of their language, heritage and cultural identity.
At Petag we believe that each student has been endowed with unique gifts and talents, each waiting to be discovered and nurtured. It is our commitment to meet every child’s needs, and to create a learning environment that enables them to reach their potential.
At Petag our curriculum is designed to instill the rich heritage of the Armenian language and culture in our students. We believe that education extends beyond the classroom. This Is why we joyously observe and celebrate more than 10 Armenian national, and religious feasts a year, alongside acquiring fluency in written and oral Armenian and a comprehensive grasp of the history of Armenian culture.
Our experienced teachers are partners in achieving our goals. They are committed to creating a nurturing environment where your child is equipped with a well-developed sense of citizenship, a creative spirit, and a solid foundation in Christian morals and values.
Being a Petag parent means joining a vibrant community, enriched by committed parents, grandparents and our wonderful students.
Every Saturday our Petag buzzes with children singing, dancing, reciting or acting in Armenian language.
As your Principal, it is important to me that every student, teacher, volunteer and parent is excited to be here! This attitude enables us to create a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.
Welcome to the Home of the Bees!
With Gratitude,
Norayr Daduryan
